Personal Development Award (PDA) Scholarships
Greta Cohan Personal Development Award
The Greta Cohan Personal Development Award was established over 35 years ago to honor this well-loved professor’s deep commitment to her students. These awards recognize students who have overcome varied challenges and whose lives have been transformed by attendance at WCC.
Selection of recipients will be based on a personal essay that exhibits how Westchester Community College has fostered the achievement of qualities such as, personal growth, joy of learning, emotional maturity, and perseverance.
Awards will be given to May or August graduates who intend to continue their education at a four-year institution in the fall/spring of 2020-21, and will be paid directly to the recipient’s transfer school.
