Westchester Community College Scholarships
Westchester Community College has streamlined its scholarship process beginning with awards for the spring 2020 semester. Our goal is to make it easier for more students to benefit from these awards.
New procedures will include:
- Instead of a separate scholarship application form, all students who file either FAFSA, TAP, or the New York State DREAM Act Application will be automatically eligible for Westchester Community College Foundation scholarships. (Students are encouraged to file annually and as early as possible; priority deadlines for these applications will be announced soon.)
- International Students will have a separate application form which will be accessible through the Student Financial Assistance Office web pages and available in hard copy in the International Student Advisor’s Office.
- As in the past, awards will be made in the fall for the entire academic year and in the spring for one semester. Awards for graduating students will also be available.
- Awards will be automatically renewed for a second year as long as student continues to meet academic criteria.
These changes will allow the college to provide a comprehensive financial assistance package in a more timely manner.
Students with questions about the new scholarship procedures should email email@example.com or stop by the Student Services Desk located in the Administration Building Lobby.
