Graduating Student and Transfer Scholarships
Graduating Student Scholarships are offered through the Westchester Community College Foundation as well as transfer scholarships offered by some local four-year colleges and universities.
WCC Foundation Scholarships
The Westchester Community College Foundation distributes $2 million in scholarships each year. This includes awards for students who graduate from WCC and plan to transfer on to complete a higher degree.
Eligibility Requirements for Foundation Scholarships
- Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
- Graduated in December, or on track to graduate in May or August of the current year
- Transferred for the spring semester, or plan to transfer to a four-year college or university for the fall semester and attend full time
- Have not previously completed a Bachelor’s Degree
College Specific Transfer Scholarships
The following colleges offer scholarships to a limited number of WCC students for fall semester applicants. These scholarships are administered by a WCC Graduating Student Scholarship Committee.
- Mercy College – Two full tuition scholarships, one for a Liberal Arts major and one for Business major
- Pace University – Two full tuition scholarships, one for a Liberal Arts major and one for Business major
- Vaughn College – One half tuition scholarship
- Clarkson University – One $15,000 scholarship and one $12,000 scholarship
- Fordham University – One $10,0000 scholarship
Eligibility Requirements For College Specific Transfer Scholarships
- Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
- Graduated in December, or on track to graduate in May or August of the current year
- Plan to transfer to a four-year college or university for the fall semester and attend full time. (If you graduated in December and transferred for the spring semester, you are not eligible for these scholarships)
- Have not previously completed a Bachelor’s Degree

PepsiCo SMILE Scholarships
PepsiCo Foundation has selected Westchester Community College as only one of three community colleges in the U.S. to offer an exciting scholarship opportunity for Black and Hispanic WCC students transferring to a four-year college or university to pursue a Bachelor’s degree, with preference given to students in Business or STEM fields. Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Scholarships
In addition to having lifetime membership in Phi Theta Kappa on your resume, you can choose to purchase the official Phi Theta Kappa regalia to wear at graduation. Also, you would be afforded access to scholarship opportunities reserved just for Phi Theta Kappa members. For more information regarding scholarships, click here.
