Turn your classroom learning into real-world experience with the SUNY WCC Paid Internship Program. Our paid elective credit and non-credit internships connect you with meaningful opportunities on campus and with employers throughout the region, helping you build the skills and experience employers are looking for.

General Eligibility Criteria to Apply for an Internship:

  • GPA: 2.5 or better, student in good standing
  • 24 hours of earned credits at time of internship
  • Approval of Curriculum Chair or other designated faculty in your major
  • Ability to work 8 hours a week/120 hours in the internship over the 15-week semester.
  • If you do an internship for elective credit, additional coursework will be assigned by the faculty.

New off-campus internships become available throughout the year. To find recent off-campus internships, please search College Central Network, WCC’s job site platform by completing the following steps: Create a student account on College Central: https://www.collegecentral.com/sunywcc/

  1. Once you can login, click on the first blue box that says ‘Search-My School’s Jobs
  2. Next, under ‘View Jobs by Keywords’ search “internships
  3. Finally, a list of internships should appear. Make sure the company name is SUNY Westchester Internships.
