Presenter: Bianca Braun
Ms. Bianca Braun is a member of CORP – the Cooke Outreach Representative Program. In 2021, she graduated from the SUNY WCC Honors College with an Honors-designated degree in Liberal Arts Social Science, and earlier that year, she was awarded an undergraduate transfer scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. This past May, Ms. Braun completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Harvard University. She currently serves as Research Coordinator at both the Speech, Hearing and Cognition Lab and the Interdisciplinary Health, Body Composition and Neuroscience Lab at Northeastern University, where she is taking graduate-level courses.
Workshop Description
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective award for community college sophomores who demonstrate both scholastic promise and financial need. This virtual workshop will provide SUNY WCC Honors students a walkthrough of a winning application and useful tips on preparing and submitting a competitive application packet. Ms. Braun will help attendees understand the eligibility requirements and answer questions pertaining to the application and selection process.
