Dr. Levine will discuss her latest book, Afterlives of Endor: Witchcraft, Theatricality, and Uncertainty (Cornell University Press, 2023).
The text addresses how early modern English literature handles witches and witchcraft. She will also discuss her writing process. This event is interactive and includes a Q and A. Dr. Levine has received awards from the NEH, Folger Shakespeare Library, and the NYU Humanities Center. She is co-founder of the Drama Department’s honors program and a recipient of NYU’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
