New and Transfer Student Orientation sessions are a full day experience starting at 9 am to 4 pm in the summer. Virtual/Online Orientations are a 2 hour and 15 minute experience.
Orientation sessions are intended for WCC students. However, we do offer live Family Orientation sessions during the week of our summer sessions and a self-guided Family Orientation during Winter Orientation. Family Orientation is a separate and unique program that does NOT meet the New and Transfer Student Orientation requirement. The presentations are geared for adults who want to learn more about the College and ways in which they can support their student. Children are discouraged from attending and or participating.
Students are encouraged to wear comfortable and appropriate clothing with comfortable closed-toed shoes.
New students will participate in a variety of fun and informative activities that are held during interactive speeches and engaging workshops.
