What is Leadership & Service?
Leadership is about supporting and empowering others as they work toward becoming their best, most authentic, and most productive selves. As a student leader, you play an active role in helping your community grow by creating opportunities, sharing resources, and working together toward common goals. Leadership also requires self reflection, understanding your own strengths and values while building connections that strengthen both individual identity and group success.
Service learning is a hands on approach to learning that combines real world action with meaningful reflection. Through service learning, you will collaborate with community partners to address real needs while connecting your experiences to what you are learning in the classroom. This process helps you better understand your role as a student, a leader, and an engaged member of your community.
