Session Descriptions

WCC offers several Summer 2026 course formats so you can build a schedule that fits your needs. All options cover the same course content and required instructional hours, just on different timelines. You can enroll in our full 10-week session, take an intensive 3-week session in August, or choose from two accelerated 5-week sessions offered in the first and second halves of the summer. These shorter sessions work well if you want to focus on fewer classes at a time or need flexibility because of work, family responsibilities, or other commitments. Registration FAQ’s

Do I need to meet with a counselor before I register?

If you are a continuing student, you do not need to meet with a counselor before registering. However, meeting with a counselor or your faculty advisor before you register will ensure that you register for courses that apply towards your degree. If you have earned less than 30 credits, you can make an appointment with a counselor at Meet virtually with an Academic Counselor.

If you have already earned 31 or more credits, you can meet with your faculty advisor Get information about your faculty advisor through MyWCC.

If you are a continuing student taking developmental, non-credit classes or your cumulative GPA is less than 2.0, you must meet with a counselor before registering. Meet virtually with an Academic Counselor.

What are the tuition and fees?

In addition to the cost of tuition, you will need to pay a variety of fees each semester. Fees vary based on whether you are a full-time or part-time student, the method of course delivery, and the campus you attend. You may have to pay additional fees based on your program of study. For a complete list and explanation of fees, visit the tuition and fees page.

What is the payment process?

Payment arrangement options include:

  1. You can pay (check or credit card ) for your classes by going to MyWCC. If you have questions about payment, the Bursar can help you https://www.sunywcc.edu/admissions/bursars-office/.
  1. You can apply for financial aid and use it towards your tuition and fees. It is important to remember that financial aid processing can take up to two weeks and requires you to be responsive to requests for documentation. You need to plan in advance. Speaking to a Student Financial Assistance Counselor can help you understand  federal aid, state aid, loans, grants, and scholarships https://www.sunywcc.edu/admissions/finaid/.

Remember, if you haven’t paid for your classes or you don’t have a payment arrangement in place, you won’t be able to attend your classes.
