International Student Admissions

We are excited to welcome students from all around the world to join our ever-growing diverse and academic focused community.

Deadline Date:

For students applying from outside the US, completed applications are due on the following dates.

  • Fall semester deadline is June 15.
  • Spring semester deadline is November 1.

For students applying from within the US (transfer or change of status), completed applications are due on the following dates.

  • Fall semester deadline is July 1st.
  • Spring semester deadline is November 15th.

Our admissions team will be here to guide you step by step throughout the admissions process. Applications take typically 2-3 weeks to review, please allow yourself sufficient time if you are applying for an F-1 visa.

How do I Apply to Westchester Community College?

To apply to WCC we require that you complete all the following as an international student.

2. Application Fee

Mail non-refundable $50.00 check or money order together with the front page of your application form directly to:

In the memo: Clearly print your full name and Student ID (if applicable)

3. High School Transcript

Proof of academics can be in the form of High School Transcripts or Diploma / External Examinations Results, National or State Results (if applicable)

High School transcripts do not need to be evaluated by an evaluation service for admissions. However, if the document is not in English, it must be translated English. Both the original and English translations are required.

CSEC, GCE A-Levels, IGCSE / O-Level, Abitur, Baccalauréat, CBSE / ISC Exams, WAEC / NECO Exams

4. Proof of English Proficiency

This is required for all students whose native language or first language is not English.

Although an English proficiency test score is not required for admission, it is highly recommended that students submit a passing test score. Students who do not submit an English proficiency test score, or did not meet the passing test score requirement, your application will be automatically referred to our English Language Institute for placement test scheduling.

5. College/University Transcript (if applicable)

If you want to transfer in foreign College/University credit to Westchester Community College you must submit an official evaluated by a Foreign Credit Evaluator. Once received submit all official transcripts to the registrar office at: [email protected].

6. Passport

Provide us with a copy of the biography page of your passport. If you are transferring to WCC from another SEVP school, please submit a copy of your F-1 Visa Page and most recent I-94. All passports be valid within 6 months.

7. Copy of Driver’s License (if appliable)

Application Process for Medical Professions

Applicants who are interested in applying to our health professions programs which include Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care and Veterinary Technology must first apply to Health Studies program to complete prerequisite coursework first.

Information about the admission requirements for each of the health professions is available on the college website. It is encouraged that you attend one of our nursing information sessions to learn more.
