PepsiCo Foundation and SUNY WCC Partner to Lift Up Students in Need

The PepsiCo Foundation has partnered with SUNY Westchester Community College to reduce barriers for students who face financial challenges and need additional support to achieve their academic and career goals.
About the Scholarship
The PepsiCo Foundation Scholarship Program is a need-based program that provides financial assistance to help students stay enrolled, complete their trade certificates, or associate degrees, and transition successfully into the workforce.
This initiative reflects the PepsiCo Foundation’s commitment to expanding economic opportunity by empowering individuals through education and supporting pathways to stable careers. Since its inception, the program has provided financial support to more than 4,000 students nationally, helping them pursue and complete their educational goals.
This scholarship opportunity is available at only a select number of community colleges across the United States.
Eligibility
Applicants for the PepsiCo Foundation Scholarship Program must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be a first-generation college student (no parent or guardian has earned a four-year degree)
- Be Pell Grant–eligible
- Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (for students pursuing an associate degree)
- Be enrolled full-time (except if fewer than twelve [12] credits are needed for graduation during the final semester; applicable only to students pursuing an associate degree)
Scholarships may be used toward the cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, books, and supplies.

Must be enrolled in one of these specified programs
Degree:
- Awards of $2,000 per academic year
Majors:
- Computer Information Systems A.S.
- Computer Science A.S.
- Cybersecurity A.A.S, Certificate
- Accounting/Finance A.S.
- Business Management A.S.
- Sales Management A.S.
- Engineering Science A.S. (General and Concentration in Mechanical)
- Mechanical Technology A.A.S.
- Engineering Science – Concentration in Electrical
- Electrical Technology A.A.S.
Requirements
- Must be registered full time
- 12 or more credits per semester
- Incoming students – 85+ high school average
- Current students – 3.0+ GPA
DEADLINE TO APPLY:
- August 11th
- Scholarships will be awarded for a full year beginning Fall Session
