Foundation Student Support
Gifts from generous donors enable the Westchester Community College Foundation to award nearly $3 million in student support annually. Scholarship awards typically cover tuition, fees, and other expenses associated with attending college. Awards are presented to full-time and part-time students, as well as incoming, continuing, and graduating students.
SUNY Westchester Community College Foundation Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and academic merit. For all categories of Foundation Scholarships, students must file the respective financial aid application(s) to determine financial need. For the majority of our scholarships, a separate application is not required. Our goal is to make it easier for more students to benefit from these awards. This process will allow the college to provide a comprehensive financial assistance package in a timelier manner.
To be considered for a WCC Foundation Scholarship, all students must complete a financial aid application (as applicable).
This is the first step toward unlocking scholarship opportunities that can help fund your education.

Additional Scholarship Resources
Many students receive scholarships from outside sources. If you receive financial aid, the College must be notified of any scholarships that you receive from external donors to avoid overfunding (which could lead to a reduction in aid after your bill is paid).
