The deadlines to apply for graduation are as follows:
May 2017 graduates must apply by March 17.
August graduates must apply by July 14.
December graduates must have applied by this date (mid-November 2016).
December 2017 Graduation Applicants
After an application for graduation is submitted the process begins. All students who have applied as a December 2016 graduate had until 12/31/16 to complete their courses. After all grades are posted in the beginning of January, each student’s record must then be audited by the appropriate curriculum chair for a review of all degree and/or certificate requirements. Final notification by all curriculum chairs for degree approval and /or denial of each student will be sent to the Registrar’s Office at the end of January. Thereafter, your degree and/or certificate will be posted to your student record and your transcript will indicate your degree and /or certificate was earned. Diplomas and certificates will be ordered next. Any outstanding hold placed on your account by either the Bursar’s Office or the Financial Aid Office must to be resolved with those offices before your degree can be ordered and released. Notification will be sent to our graduates via their WCC email account when degrees are mailed directly from our vendor to your home address. Be sure to activate and link your WCC email to enable you to check regularly for updates.
