May 2019 Graduation Applicants Timeline
Please verify and correct the spelling of your name and your address before May 1st.
After an application for graduation is submitted, the process begins. All students who have applied as a May 2019 graduate have until 05/13/19 to complete their courses.
After all grades are posted for the spring term each potential graduate’s record must then be audited by the appropriate curriculum chair for a review of all degree and/or certificate requirements. Final notification by all curriculum chairs for degree approval and/or denial of each student will be sent to the Registrar’s Office at the end of May. Thereafter, your degree and/or certificate will be posted to your student record and your transcript will indicate your degree and/or certificate was earned. Diplomas and certificates will be ordered next. Any outstanding hold placed on your account by either the Bursar’s Office or the Financial Aid Office must to be resolved with those offices before your degree can be ordered and released. Notification will be sent to our graduates via their Westchester Community College email account. Degrees are mailed directly from our vendor to your home address. Be sure to activate and link your Westchester Community College email to enable you to check regularly for updates.
May 2019 graduates must apply by March 22
August 2019 graduates must apply by July 12
December 2019 graduates must apply by November 15
