Desciption
This is a 3-week, program (Mon. – Thurs.) for students who want to take their drone skills to the next level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, this program is your gateway to becoming a certified drone pilot under FAA Part 107 regulations. The program is offered at to eligible participants.
Program Highlights:
- Hands-on flight training with real equipment
- Preparation for the FAA Part 107
- Remote Pilot Certification exam
- OSHA 10 Safety Certification
- A take home drone upon completion of the program
Eligibility:
- Must be 18-24 years old
- Must be able to commute to SUNY
- Westchester Community College
- Current WCC student (matriculated or non-matriculated) or alumni
