Great Books Forum: Forest of Noise
David Swope Student Center, Event Room
This semester, join the Great Books Forum for discussions on the literature of war. Discussions will focus on the sadly perennial issues of war and conflict, as explored by the works of three great authors.
Forest of Noise by Mosab Abu Toha
This acclaimed volume of poetry by a contemporary Palestinian author will be the touchstone for a broader conversation about poetry and war. This discussion will be hosted by Dr. Christine Timm.
Free copies of the book will be raffled off to students.
