WCC Foundation and Partner Scholarships
SUNY WCC offers a variety of program-specific scholarships that students can apply for, each with its own set of eligibility requirements.
1. WCC Foundation scholarships that require an application open in the Spring—so students can apply ahead of time for awards they’ll receive in the Fall.
2. Some partner scholarships may accept applications on a rolling basis, unless a specific deadline is listed—so it’s important to review details listed.

WCC Foundation Robert R. Wiener Cybersecurity Scholarship
- Must plan to register full time (12+ credits) Fall 2026 & Spring 2027
- Incoming students – 85+ high school average
- Current students – 3.0+ GPA
- File the respective financial aid application by July 1, 2026 as listed on our website.
- Eligible programs: Computer Information Systems A.A.S., Cybersecurity A.A.S.

WCC Foundation Hirsch Family Scholarship
Hirsch Family Endowed Scholarships honor the legacy of Professor Lany Hirsch, who played a pivotal role in the establishment of WCC’s Academic Support Center. $1000-$3000 awards are given to part- and full-time students who have overcome challenges and improved their academic standing by making use of the resources available through the Academic Support Center.
- Must have used the Academic Support Center for a minimum of 10 hours in the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 school year
- Must plan to continue at Westchester Community College in the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 school year
- Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 at the end of the Spring 2026 semester
- Must have a faculty member submit a Hirsch Family Scholarship Faculty Recommendation Form – Fill out form
Application opens March 11, 2026. Deadline for application is April 21, 2026.
Hirsch Family Endowed Scholarship Application Form
Requirements: Students must file financial aid (FAFSA, NYS TAP, and/or Excelsior, NYS Dream Act) applications by July 1, 2026. International students are eligible to apply to this scholarship opportunity; submit the alternative financial need form by the deadline.
Student obligations of award: If you are offered the scholarship, you must submit a letter of thanks detailing the change this scholarship makes in your life to the donor. Your award will not be disbursed into your account until this is received. You may also be invited to participate in donor/student events.
WCC Foundation Fall 2026 Student Involvement Scholarship
- Actively involved in one or more student clubs, organizations, or service groups
- Held a role demonstrating responsibility and campus service (e.g., member, committee chair, officer, event organizer, volunteer coordinator)
- GPA of at least 2.75
- Have a completed Financial Aid application on file. See application requirements based on status here.
- Registered for at least 6 credits in Fall 2026
- Provide the email of one advisor, organization leader, faculty, or staff member familiar with your campus service (they will complete a short recommendation survey).

WCC Foundation PepsiCo Uplift Scholarship
- Must plan to register full time (12+ credits) Fall 2026 & Spring 2027
- Incoming students – 85+ high school average
- Current students – 3.0+ GPA

WCC Foundation Wallach Scholars Mentoring Scholarship
Priority will be given to students in the following majors: Liberal Arts and Sciences/Humanities A.A.; Liberal Arts and Sciences/Social Sciences A.A.; Liberal Arts and Sciences/Mathematics and Science A.S.
- Matriculate in a degree-seeking program or certificate for the upcoming academic year 2026-27.
- File the respective financial aid application as listed on our website.
- Returning students require a minimum GPA of 2.5 | Incoming students: High School graduation average of 77 or higher.
- Plan to register for 12 credits or more for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

WCC Foundation Kathryn W. Davis Global Community Scholars Program
The Kathryn W. Davis Global Community Scholars Program brings together students from diverse backgrounds for education, international understanding, exchange and service. It promotes interchange of ideas, enlightens participants about global and local issues and engages the students in cooperative and productive experiences. Scholarship recipients form a new unity, building leadership skills and experience through collaboration on required service projects.

1. Second year students (24-26 credits completed) who intent to register full time for Fall 2026-Spring 2027
2. GPA of at least 3.25
3. Interested in community service and leadership.
The scholarship program requires commitment to a weekly meeting and engage in a team project.

New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) Opioid Settlement Fund Addiction Professionals Scholarship Program
- Pursuing Addiction Counseling A.A.S. degree OR Addiction Counseling Certificate
- Applicants must reside in New York; must be at least 18 years of age by the completion of the first semester in the program; and must have a minimum of a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma.
Students eligible: Incoming & Returning students who meet the following:
OASAS scholarships cover any remaining cost of tuition and fees, after federal and state aid is applied. Internship stipends are provided to students while completing fieldwork in an approved placement site. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
- Priority for this funding opportunity:
Priority 1: Employees of agencies that operate OASAS-certified, funded, or otherwise authorized programs and OMH- and/or DOH-certified Integrated Outpatient Services (IOS-SUD), and DOH Drug User Health and/or Harm Reduction programs.
Priority 2: Individuals providing addiction care (prevention, treatment, recovery, or harm reduction services in another eligible setting per CASAC work experience requirements).
Priority 3: Individuals/Students interested in working in eligible OASAS/OMH/DOH settings.
