TRIO Scholars Program
About Us
Mission Statement
SUNY WCC’s TRIO Scholars Program (Student Support Services) is a federally funded program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, aimed at increasing the retention, graduation, and transfer rates of first-generation, income-eligible students, and students with disabilities that demonstrate an academic need for services. The program provides comprehensive academic and personalized services, including access to academic development resources, assistance with basic college requirements, and motivation to help students successfully graduate and transfer to a four-year college.
