Brightspace is our online learning platform. There is plenty of support to get you started and answer any questions you may have to access our Brightspace platform. Please be aware that classes will not be available to students until 6 days prior to your class start date in MyCourses – Brightspace.
Email Account Activation
How to Get Started
- Be sure to activate your MyWCC Student Profile. See this webpage for instructions: email-account-activation/
- Students should ensure that they are able to log into their SUNY WCC email accounts and secure their accounts via the process of multi-factor authentication with their mobile phones. To see instructions for MFA, see this webpage:multifactor
- Check your MyWCC Email Account every day. For more information, please click here: SUNY WCC Student Email & FREE
Microsoft Office 365. - Log into your courses in Brightspace as much as possible. You should look over the layout of each of your Brightspace course shells and locate the announcements, course content, and your assignments that your professors have posted on Brightspace. Watch for email communication from each of your instructors.
- Reach out to your instructors with your questions by sending them an email using your MyWCC student email account.

MYWCC

Westchester Community College has a student self-service web tool called MyWCC. Students can follow the on-screen instructions to activate their account and receive their User ID. Once students are logged in, look for How-To guides which are available to help students navigate through the different features of MyWCC. Students can access and update their personal information, see course offerings, register for classes, pay tuition, check on financial aid status, view academic transcripts, and access their college email account from MyWCC.
Course listings and online self-registration are accessible through MyWCC. The Welcome Center runs the MyWCC Student Helpdesk – Students can contact them at [email protected] with questions related to their MyWCC account.
