Faculty Senate

The Faculty Senate is the governance body through which faculty provide input to the administration on academic and faculty status matters. The Faculty Senate consists of an Executive Committee of five faculty members, who serve two-year terms, and thirteen standing committees that present reports and propose policies and resolutions. The standing committees include Academic Technology, Academics, Adjunct Issues, Assessment, Awards, Curriculum, Diversity, Faculty Development Advisory, Environment, Faculty Personnel Policies, General Education, Shared Governance, and Student Personnel Policies. The Faculty Senate meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month during the academic year.
