The Fashion Design & Technology program enables students to understand how apparel is produced for various markets considering creative, technical, and cost factors. Graduates are prepared for work as junior patternmakers; design assistants; technical design, and more. You will develop skills in textiles, draping and flat pattern making, garment construction, apparel design, and other skills used in the design fields from apparel manufacturing to home products.

studies with business courses to prepare students for positions in resident buying offices, fashion manufacturers, designer showrooms, retail stores, fashion publications, and other firms associated with the fashion industry.
