About the Multimedia Center

The Communications, Journalism, and Media Arts Multimedia Center at SUNY-Westchester Community College is a state-of-the-art multifunctional space designed with the latest technology for multimedia production that will serve as the creative gathering hub for the Communications, Journalism, and Media Arts programs and students.

TV Production Studio (204) 

TV Production Studio (204) where students will learn and actively produce pre-recorded programming and live TV shows. Our 22’ x 28’ studio serves as a multi-purpose facility capable of professional television and video production.

Student Lounge and Innovation Hub (221) The welcome area that will provide a space for Communications, Journalism, and Media Arts students to relax, work on assignments, collaborate on projects and connect for informal and academic gatherings.

The Innovation Lab (226A)

The Innovation Lab (226A) is designed to allow students to produce and edit content for digital media.

Speech and Voice Lab (226) Students can practice voice and diction, public speaking, as well as use their talent to participate in the National Speech and Debate Association and other national competitions.
