Winter Orientation

The New and Transfer Student Winter Orientation is comprised of two parts with part one being a Winter Orientation, a virtual experience designed to support incoming studetns in successfully transitioning to college life at SUNY Westchester. The virtual session will begin promptly at 6 pm, with ZOOM access opening 15 minutes earlier to ensure your technology equipment is functioning properly. During the virtual session, students will learn about important resources, opportunities to get involved, and tips for navigating the academic journey ahead.

After attending virtual sessions, students will receive a code to access part two of Winter Orientation: a self-guided online orientation module through the SUNY WCC Student Portal (MyWCC). Completing this online module will fulfill all requirements for receiving full credit for attending the orientation and we promise you, the student will feel informed and energized when completing the whole experience.
