
PepsiCo Foundation Uplift Scholarship
PepsiCo Foundation and SUNY WCC Partner to Lift Up Students in Need
The PepsiCo Foundation has partnered with SUNY Westchester Community College to break down barriers for students lacking access to financial support and professional development opportunities.
To qualify for the needs-based PepsiCo Foundation Uplift Scholarship, students must identify as a member of an underserved community (i.e., not receiving enough help, products or services) or otherwise meet one of the eligibility criteria listed below. Scholarships should be used towards the cost of attendance.
The goal of this scholarship:
- The PepsiCo Foundation Uplift Scholarship program is designed to support students in sustaining their enrollment in community colleges, attaining trade certificates or associate degrees, and subsequently gaining employment. This initiative is part of the PepsiCo Foundation’s commitment to increasing economic opportunity by empowering individuals through education and creating pathways to stable careers. Since its inception, the program has provided financial support to over 4,000 students, enabling them to pursue and complete their educational goals.
This exciting scholarship opportunity is available at only a few community colleges in the United States.
Eligibility
Applicants for the Uplift Scholarship must fall into one or more of the categories below:
- Identify as one or more of the following:
- Member of an underserved community (not receiving enough help, products or services)
- First generation college student (none of your parents have achieved a 4-year degree)
- Socio-economically disadvantaged
- Pell-eligible/low-income
- Must maintain at least a 2.5 gpa (only for students looking to earn an Associates Degree)
- Must be a full-time student (except if student requires less than twelve (12) credits in their last semester before graduation)(only for students looking to earn an Associates Degree)
Must be enrolled in one of these specified programs

Degree:
- Awards of $2,000 per academic year
Majors:
- Computer Information Systems A.A.S.
- Cybersecurity A.A.S, Certificate
- Accounting/Finance A.S.
- Business Management A.S.
- Sales Management A.S.
- Engineering Science A.S. (General and Concentration in Mechanical)
- Mechanical Technology A.A.S.
- Engineering Science – Concentration in Electrical
- Electrical Technology A.A.S.
Requirements
- Must be registered full time
- 12 or more credits per semester
- Incoming students – 85+ high school average
- Current students – 3.0+ GPA
