SUNY Westchester Peekskill SUNY Westchester Peekskill ● 27 North Division Street Peekskill NY 10566 ● 914-606-7300 CENTER FOR THE DIGITAL ARTS Faculty & Staff Exhibition September 11 ‒ November 27, 2023 Reception: Thursday, September 21, 6:00 ‒ 8:00 p.m. The SUNY Westchester Peekskill Center for the Digital Arts Gallery is presenting the work of faculty and staff on view from September 11 through November 27, 2023. The opening reception will be on Thursday, September 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the public is welcome. The Faculty & Staff exhibition is a group show dedicated to the work and efforts of the people who make the arts at the Center for the Digital Arts possible. These artists, faculty, and staff met the pandemic as a challenge with their creativity, which led to a lot of innovation in program development and new teaching methodologies. It will be exciting to see what their work looks like now after the pandemic and all that we have learned together. The gallery will showcase the faculty who teach the courses in the Art & Design A.S., ITECH A.A.S., non-credit workforce development certificates, and the Youth Arts Technology program. Several of our staff teach as well, but all of the Center for the Digital Arts staff are practicing artists that train heavily in arts technology. The exhibition is a great reflection of the talent behind the curriculum and educational experience at the center as it turns 30 years old. In the spring of 2024 we will be hosting our 30th Anniversary Students Exhibition as a follow up to this Faculty & Staff Exhibition.
