Great Books Forum: The Things They Carried
Classroom Building, Room 100
This semester, join the Great Books Forum for discussions on the literature of war. Discussions will focus on the sadly perennial issues of war and conflict, as explored by the works of three great authors.
The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien
A classic, harrowing novel of the Vietnam War and the way it haunted the lives of those who fought in it. This discussion will be hosted by Dr. Joshua Gaccione.
Free copies of the book will be raffled off to students.
