The “Beyond What Once Was,” solo exhibition by sculptor Kate Rusek will be on display through November 21 at the WCC Art Gallery at SUNY Westchester Valhalla.
Rusek’s porcelain sculpture, reclaimed window blinds, textiles, and other discarded materials are transformed into intricate, tactile forms that explore accumulation, material memory, and the tension between the manufactured and the organic.
