Health Sciences and Wellness Career Panel

The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is hosting a Career Panel for students interested in professions in health science and wellness. The panelists are all SUNY WCC alumni currently working in their respective fields.

Moderated by SUNY WCC Professor Blakely Lowry, panelists will be sharing information about their career journeys, how WCC prepared them for their current roles, lessons they’ve learned, and more. The following panelists are confirmed to attend:

• Stella Lemel, Nurse Practitioner at Westchester Medical Center in the Department of Surgery
• Nikki Robertson, X-Ray Technologist at Hudson Valley and Yorktown Center for Special Surgery
• Carrie Scherer, Surgery/Anesthesia Technician at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists
• Michael Torres, Senior Manager of Risk Revenue and Provider Performance at Aetna
