Office of High School Partnerships

The Office of High School Partnerships plans, develops, coordinates, and administers a variety of programs and projects that link Westchester Community College with high schools in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster Counties.

By leveraging the college’s dual enrollment program, Early College Experience (ECE), formerly known as Advanced College Experience (ACE), a range of robust programs have emerged to help students successfully navigate the transition from high school to college.  During the 2015-2016 academic year, more than 3,000 students enrolled in college credit courses representing approximately 35 high schools from across the area.

These programs include StepUp, a high school to college transition program for current seniors; P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) and SMART Scholars, two early college high school models; as well as articulation agreements with the Southern Westchester BOCES, Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES, and Ulster BOCES connected to specific Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways.
