Programming and Workshops
Fundamental to comprehensive and holistic mental health support is the development and support of ongoing learning and engagement opportunities for the college community. Licensed Mental Health Professionals participate in and facilitate programming and psychoeducation opportunities including but not limited to workshops, presentations, and forums on a variety of topics related to mental health and well being.

Coping
Dates: October 10 & 24, November 7 & 21
Time: 2PM – 3 PM
Location: Student Center 113 (Beverage Lab across from Student Lounge)
Who: All students are welcome
Cost: Free
Coping is a bi-weekly psychoeducation series program that aims to help students develop a variety of skills and tools to help them manage their stress effectively.
Coping workshops are lead by Licensed Mental Health Professionals from the Department of Mental Health and Counseling Services.

Mental Health Task Force
The Mental Health Task Force at Westchester Community College is a multidisciplinary team of faculty, staff, and students who are committed to the prioritization of student mental health and wellness. Using a holistic, public health framework, the Mental Health Task Force aims to assess the current culture and services related to student mental health.
The Task Force’s development and utilization of a strategic plan will support the goal of enhancing the quality and accessibility of mental health and wellness services, information, programs, and resources across the Westchester Community College community.
