The presentation will feature Laura Jacobs, LCSW and Emet Tauber.
Laura Jacobs is a psychotherapist, activist, lecturer and writer devoted to the diversity of gender identity and sexual expression. Ms. Jacobs is Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. She is a contributor to The Huffington Post, that speaks nationally at conferences and organizations.
Emet Tauber is a senior at SUNY-Purchase and LGTBQ advocate. Currently serving on the National Advisory Board for GLSEN, The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network, an organization for students, parents, and teachers that try to affect positive change in schools. Emet has experience with addressing the media and presenting on LGBTQ issues, especially those pertaining to gender identity and expression.
