Mental Health Task Force
The Mental Health Task Force at Westchester Community College is a multidisciplinary team of faculty, staff, and students who are committed to the prioritization of student mental health and wellness. Using a holistic, public health framework, the Mental Health Task Force aims to assess the current culture and services related to student mental health. The Task Force’s development and utilization of a strategic plan will support the goal of enhancing the quality and accessibility of mental health and wellness services, information, programs, and resources across the Westchester Community College community.

The Personal Counseling Departments offers training to WCC Faculty, Staff, and Students on how to identify signs of distress, and how to support and connect students with more care. For more information on these trainings, please visit the For Students page or the For Faculty/Staff page.
If you are a WCC Student, Faculty or Staff member, the Personal Counseling Department can host a training for your particular cohort of 10 or more people. If you’d like to request a Personal Counseling Department training, presentation, or partnership on an event for you department, class, or student club or organization, please complete our PCD Presentation/Training Request form. Please note, filling out this form does not guarantee the Personal Counseling Department’s commitment to the proposed event.
