Individual Short Term Counseling
Individual Short-Term Counseling
The Personal Counseling Department provides short-term and solution-focused individual mental health counseling (aka therapy). Personal Counselors provide culturally and trauma informed mental health services, honoring the uniqueness of each student’s individual struggles and experiences. Personal Counselors understand that the short-term nature of counseling may not be sufficient in meeting a student’s mental health needs. Personal Counselors work with students on an individual basis to assess needs and create collaborative action plan for ongoing support. Currently, Personal Counselors provide individual counseling services remotely through Zoom for HealthCare; click here for more information about Telehealth.
