Ofer is currently working on a series of 12 self-published artists books collectively known as The Photographic Book Project. Some of these books were exhibited this year at The Photographers’ Gallery in London as part of Self Publish, Be Happy and in Paris as part of PIY (Publish it Yourself).
Inspired by and composed of glamour photographs of stars from the golden age of cinema in Hollywood, the images in Star Quality reconfigure our ideals of beauty as well as question the concept of stardom, identity and the role a person plays in creating their own persona.
