FERPA, otherwise known as the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act, is federal legislation that guides how we interact with students, their families, and their educational records.
This will be an interactive session that will help you learn about following FERPA guidelines. We will cover what academic and personal information you can and cannot share. We will also discuss how to manage challenging requests that may come to you from family members and outside entities.
