The film highlights the efforts of three small\, underfunded. volunteer organizations that provided essential support to traumatized individuals and families seeking safety and security in the United States.

DESCRIPTION:Davis Auditorium\, Gateway Center \nAt the age of sixteen\, Luvaghn Brown (also known as Luvaghn Stamps) was arrested for his participation in a sit-in in a Jackson\, Mississippi Walgreens lunch counter on July 11\, 1961. In October of that year\, he was also arrested while picketing outside Jackson’s fairgrounds. In August of 1962\, Brown would join the SNCC staff in Greenwood\, Mississippi.
