Message from Dr. Belinda S. Miles: What We Do Matters – May 21, 2021
May 21, 2021
Colleagues,
We are still basking in the success of our students following last week’s Commencement. The video is posted on our website for viewing and sharing, and other images and content are posted on our social media platforms. Our students are well prepared for transfer or to take their places in the workforce!
Last Friday, we started the conversation on bold transformations. Our students’ success is evidence of our commitment to implementing an integrated, structured, and inclusive student experience based on high-impact practices that meaningfully transform their lives. Accordingly, in this video, students share what Westchester Community College means to them. We thank Professor Nicole Tschampel for sharing this content from the recent Center for Teaching and Learning Symposium. What we do has real and positive impact. Thank you for all you do to help students achieve their goals. What we do matters.
Please continue to submit articles, Ted Talk and other video content, or any other material to share with the college community as part of our Summer Reading. Email your submission to janice.adams@sunywcc.edu with a brief summary of your content.
