SCHOLARSHIPS

Open the Door to Opportunity Through Scholarships

Westchester Community College’s tuition remains among SUNY’s lowest, at $4,980 per academic year – yet the total cost of education, including textbooks, transportation, fees, and living expenses exceeds $21,000* annually, which represents an insurmountable barrier for families with few or no resources.

Gifts from generous donors enable the Westchester Community College Foundation to award nearly $3 million in student support annually. Scholarship awards cover tuition, fees, and other expenses associated with college attendance. Awards are made to full-time and part-time students; incoming students, continuing students, and graduating students.

Establishing a Named Scholarship Fund

Awards can be funded on an annual basis, beginning at $5,000, or can be permanently endowed, beginning at $45,000.  Scholarships are awarded to students who meet the flexible criteria that reflect the donor’s interests.  For more information, please contact Ilene Lieberman, Senior Director of Development and Leadership Giving, (914) 606-6834.
