Logo Guidelines
From April 8, 2021 – May 2022 the official Westchester Community College logo will celebrate the college’s 75th anniversary. This celebratory logo honors the college’s longevity as an institution of higher learning that is commemorating 75 years of excellence in guiding student success, supporting economic development, and building community relationships.
This is a special celebratory logo that will be used to represent the college for the duration of the 75th anniversary celebration. The 75th anniversary logo should be used to identify the institution on all college communications and materials for this time period where a logo is needed.
The 75th anniversary logo features the college’s founding year and the year of the 75th anniversary, 1946-2021. It also features the college’s traditional blue and gold colors along with refreshed iconography from the previous Westchester Community College seal.
When presenting the 75th anniversary logo, these key points should be followed:
- The logo should always appear at a size that maintains the legibility and integrity of the lettering. The minimum size for printed pieces should be 1” in diameter.
- The logo should not appear more than once per page of a communication piece.
- The logo should appear with adequate spacing on all sides. Please refer to the Exclusion Zone section below for details.
Exclusion Zone
The logo should be displayed with adequate spacing on all sides. The spacing should be equivalent to at least the size of the distance between the outer and inner gold rings that encompass the celebratory slogan. This minimum spacing scales with the logo and is demonstrated in the following graphic.
