Students who are accepted may choose from all the courses offered at the College as long as they meet established prerequisites. The Early College Experience (ECE) allows high school students to take Westchester Community College courses at their high school; classes are taught by qualified high school faculty. Students must meet all prerequisite requirements and courses follow Westchester Community College syllabi. How do I transfer from another college to become a matriculated student at Westchester Community College? Submit an Admissions application online, Immunization/Meningitis form to the Student Health Office, and submit official transcript(s) from all previously attended colleges. Your transfer evaluation credits will be posted on your student portal on MyWCC and can also be seen in your Degree Works account. A student may be granted a maximum of 50 percent of the required credits for a degree or certificate at Westchester Community College through transfer, examination or evaluation. In general, courses in which a student has received a grade of ‘C’ or better will be accepted for credit if they fit into our course requirements. Please allow 3 weeks for processing. Students cannot register until their evaluation is completed and they have been advised by a counselor. If you can show proof of a grade of ‘C’ or better in College-level English and/or Math, you will be exempt from the corresponding placement questionnaire(s).
