Yes, please visit www.sunywcc.edu/visit to view a schedule of information sessions and campus tours offered by the Admissions Office. Information sessions offered include general information sessions, Nursing information sessions and 24-credit GED information sessions. You can rsvp for an information session or campus tour on that site. Those requesting a group tour for a school or organization should be referred to Admissions. When can I apply to Westchester Community College? Students should be encouraged to apply as early as possible. Please note that any applicant needing a placement questionnaire MUST submit their application in sufficient time to be able to take the placement questionnaire (please see placement questionnaire info. below). Students must apply online at www.sunywcc.edu/apply. Approximately one week after applying, you will be mailed an acceptance letter and sent an email with your student ID from the College’s automated CRM communication system. What documents do I need to submit to apply to a degree or certificate program at Westchester Community College? The application contains a checklist of all necessary items that are required to complete the admissions process. Please also see: Admissions Information Checklist - SUNY Westchester Community College (sunywcc.edu). If you have never taken a class at the college, you must: 1. Apply online at www.sunywcc.edu/apply. The online application includes an application fee that is paid by credit card. The application fee is $50. 2. Submit proof of high school graduation. All applicants must have their high school send an official transcript to the Office of Admissions. Official transcripts must be emailed by the high school to HSTranscript@sunywcc.edu . Unofficial high school transcripts are not accepted. If an official high school transcript with date of graduation cannot be sent from the high school, students must bring their original high school diploma to the Admissions Office. High School Equivalency diploma recipients as well as students who are unable to get an official copy of their high school transcript must bring their original GED diploma and scores. 3. Transfer Students who have attended a prior college must have their College email an official college transcript to: eTrans@sunywcc.edu . If the College is unable to email it, it can also be mailed by the College to our Registrar’s Office.
