What registration services are available online through MyWCC? You can search for, add, drop, or swap* classes through College Scheduler. To search for, register, swap or drop classes, log into your MyWCC account, click on ‘Student Self-Service Center’ and click on the ‘College Scheduler’ tile. For more information on how to use College Scheduler, please see: www.sunywcc.edu/college-scheduler or go to www.sunywcc.edu/registrar and click on ‘How-To’ Guides and ‘How to Enroll in Classes’. *To swap a class means that the class you are registered for will only be dropped if you can get into the new class you are trying to register for. This way, you will not potentially lose your spot in your original class if the class you want is not available. A “swap” is when you are a changing a course on your schedule for another course within the same semester and session for the equal number of credits. By selecting ‘swap’, one course will replace the other through the end of the semester’s add/ drop period. Note: New, degree-seeking (non-transfer) students must meet with an academic counselor before they can register online – please see ‘Academic Counseling’ section for details. When I click on the ‘Student Self-Service’ tile on my MyWCC account, I get an Oracle sign on screen and my regular logon information doesn’t work. What should I do? You should clear your browser cache for ‘all time’ and then open a new window and type in the full mywcc.sunywcc.edu address rather than using a bookmarked site. This sign-on screen should no longer appear afterwards. For instructions on how to clear your browser cache, please see mywcc.sunywcc.edu . Nothing happens when I click on the ‘Let’s Get Started’ or ‘College Scheduler’ tiles. What should I do? Please turn off your browser’s pop-up blocker and click on the tile again. It should then allow you to proceed. I need help registering for classes with College Scheduler. Who can assist? If you already know what class you need to register for, the College’s Success Navigators can assist students who need help registering in College Scheduler. Please sign on to www.sunywcc.edu/helpregister during their business hours to request assistance and a Navigator will get back to you- hours are listed on the site.
