GENERAL REGISTRATION QUESTIONS When is registration and when is the last day to register? For dates, please see www.sunywcc.edu/academiccalendar What are the beginning and ending dates of the semester, the dates for refunds, or the dates to withdraw? These dates are also posted on www.sunywcc.edu/academiccalendar I’ve taken classes in the past and I want to come back. What do I need to do? Returning students (those who have taken at least 1 credit at the College in the past) should be able to register online through MyWCC if they have attended the College within the last 2 years. If it has been more than 2 years (but less than 7), students should email the Registrar’s Office at registrar@sunywcc.edu in order to be reactivated. Emails should be sent from the student’s WCC email account. To be reactivated, students should provide their student ID, date of birth and last 4 digits of their social security number so the Registrar’s can review their account. Please note that if a student has already graduated from Westchester Community College, he or she will need to contact the Registrar’s Office to fill out a 2nd degree form. If it has been more than 7 years, students must fill out a new Admissions application online at www.sunywcc.edu/apply. New students who filled out an application in the past but never took classes will have to email the Admissions Office to have their account activated for the upcoming term. Where can I access the course catalog and the current schedule of classes? The Course Catalog is currently available online at https://catalog.sunywcc.edu Alternatively, on the website, you can select “Academics” and then “Course Catalog”. The course catalog has information on all of the College’s degree and certificate programs; it also contains course descriptions and prerequisite requirements.
