PLEASE NOTE: • Early Admit Students are NOT eligible for the DSP Questionnaires. They must either be waived from placement or take the appropriate ACCUPLACER exam. • The waivers for EAS students are different than those for matriculated or nonmatriculated students. Early Admit Students can be waived from placement if they meet the requirements below: English College-Level Placement (ENG 31.01 and READ 12.01 – ENG 101 and no Reading course required) NYS English Language Arts Regents Exam 85+ SAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing Score 550+ PSAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing Score 550+ ACT English Score 23+ 2+ full years of course grades with an overall HS GPA AND average English course GPA of 85% or 3.1+ Math College Level Placement Placement: Math 41.01 College Level Mathematics 80+ on 1 NYS Regents Exam (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, or Geometry) SAT Math Score 530+ OR PSAT Math Score 530+ OR ACT Math Score 22+ Overall Average of 80+ in 3 High School Math Courses AND 75+ in High School Algebra II Placement: Math 42.01 Precalculus 80+ on 3 NYS Regents Exams (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, or Geometry) SAT Math Score 580+ OR PSAT Math Score 580+ OR ACT Math Score 25+ Overall Average of 80+ in 3 High School Math Courses AND 75+ in High School Algebra II Placement: Math 43.01 Calculus SAT Math Score 630+ OR PSAT Math Score 630+ or ACT Math Score 28+ Overall Average of 80+ in 3 High School Math Courses AND 75+ in High School Pre-Calculus How long does it take to get the placement questionnaire results? You will be able to view your questionnaire results immediately after you complete the questionnaires. Placement questionnaire results are available for viewing in in MyWCC after two business days following the day you take the questionnaires. College business days are Monday through Friday.
