Calculus (MATH 181)/Calculus for Business (MATH 180). This exam is administered based on recommendation ONLY. You must receive permission from an academic counselor or the mathematics department before you’re allowed to take this exam. After receiving permission, interested students can visit www.sunywcc.edu/testingcenter to schedule their AAF exam. Handheld calculators are not allowed during testing unless they are a prescribed accommodation. There is a $20.00 fee for the placement questionnaires. Students are charged the testing fee after completing the assessment and it is due at the time students pay their tuition. The student does NOT pay the fee at the time when they take the questionnaires. For students receiving financial aid, the $20 fee will be part of the financial aid package. How long does it take to complete the placement questionnaires? The amount of time required to complete the placement questionnaires varies by student, but it averages approximately 30-45 minutes per questionnaire. Additionally, the Questionnaires are untimed and students may stop and finish at a later date using the same Questionnaire links that were provided to them. How can I be waived from the placement questionnaires?
