SPECIALIZED FIELDS TESOL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM There has never been a greater demand for teachers of English to speakers of other languages than now. Both in the United States and worldwide, English is a vital language that allows people to increase their job opportunities, feel empowered and independent, integrate, and learn about other cultures. This intensive, 12-week, certificate, noncredit program provides a comprehensive curriculum which includes practical in-class instruction in Adult ESOL teaching methodologies and techniques, theoretical constructs in Second Language Acquisition, and Linguistics. You will also observe ESL classes and complete a supervised teaching practicum, ensuring you practice the methods and techniques you learn from the program’s classes.
