Proctoring Services

Proctoring Services for Distance Learning Students
The Testing Center provides proctoring services for non-Westchester Community College students who: are enrolled in distance learning courses sponsored by other colleges and universities, or need to take certification or other examinations.

To arrange for proctoring services:

1. Call the Testing Center, 914-606-6969, or email testingcenter@sunywcc.edu  to request the Visiting Student Registration Form.
2. Let the Testing Center staff know the date of the exam to make sure that it will not be during a black-out period when no exams are administered.

                      
The following guidelines are in effect:

• There is a Visiting Student Proctor Fee of $30 for the first two hours or fraction thereof and $15 for every additional hour or fraction thereof.
• The sponsoring school or agency is responsible for providing the postage for forwarding the completed examination. If the school does not provide the postage, the cost becomes the responsibility of the student.
• The sponsoring school will indicate the time allowed for the exam and whether special testing conditions are permitted. No calculators, notes or books will be allowed unless specified by the sponsoring institution or agency. 

Westchester Community College is a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC). The consortium is a group of college and university testing centers throughout the United States that has come together to support distance learning. The purpose of the CCTC is to make test administration services available to students at locations away from their own campuses.
