These workshops are specifically
designed for students accessing disabilities services.
- Getting off to a
Good Start
Designed to help you organize and access services early in the semester.
Topics include: how to request extended time, self-advocacy in the
classroom, time management, and accessing tutorial services.
- How to handle
Mid-Semester Pressures
Covers techniques for tackling mid-semester projects, studying for
mid-term exams, and stress management tips.
- Planning your
schedule for the next semester
Helps you plan your best schedule. You are required to see an academic
advisor prior to attending this workshop. Make an appointment with an
academic advisor by calling 914-606-6572. Assistance will be given to plan
your schedule and priority star-tel registration will be given to those in
attendance.
- Preparing for Final
Exams
Covers study tips, strategies for final exams and making arrangements for
extended time.
