Admissions Information
for Students with Disabilities
Westchester Community College has an open admissions policy
for students who have graduated from high school with a Regents or local
diploma, and for those with a GED. Students who receive an IEP diploma are
not guaranteed admission to the college. IEP diploma students should contact the Director
of Admissions at 914-606-6735 for further information.

Form using this website, or contact the Admissions Office,
Administration Building, Room 227, at 606-6735.

Complete and submit your
application.

Step 3: |
Request that your high
school and/or doctor provide the following information:
- Most recent Triennial Evaluation
- Most recent IEP (Individualized
Education Program)
- Educational testing information and
results
- Letter of diagnosis and
recommendations for accommodations

Step 4: |
Once you have received an
acceptance letter from the Admissions Office, email Professor Kalkut at marcia.kalkut@sunywcc.edu or call her at
914-606-6552 to schedule
an appointment for a special Extended Time Placement Test session. You
must have an appointment to attend one of these special sessions. You
must have all documentation on file in our office prior to your testing
date. Contact Professor Kalkut as early as possible if a sign language
interpreter is needed. |
