What is Quietword™?
Quietword™ at http://quietword.net/education/westchester/ is a new service that allows students and alumni to register and be matched to jobs, internships, seasonal jobs and careers. To increase your chances of locating and landing a job you are encouraged to register with both College Central and Quietword™
Here’s how Quietword™ works:

You complete a detailed profile of your résumé information, which Quietword™ separates into ‘private’ and ‘public’ sections

You fill out your Career Interests in order to accurately specify the types of jobs you are interested in being considered for (Work Locations, Industry Sectors, Jobs, Benefits, Work Types, Career Level, Company Size, Sector and Structure)

Employers search and review public résumé information, but cannot view your private information. This includes a your name, address, contact details and current employer(s)

Employers can select students they would like to invite to apply for specific jobs

If an employer ‘invites’ you, Quietword™ sends you an email invitation asking you to release your private résumé information to that employer
Quietword™ ensures that only mutually interested students and employers are connected. You control your privacy and anonymity by choosing to accept or decline invitations, and by blocking companies from ever seeing you.
You will receive a Quietword Passport™, which is your online résumé for life. You can log back in and update your Quietword Passport™ over time as your career experience grows.
