Finding Employment
Professional counselors with expertise in the job search process and years of experience are available to help with your job search. Every effort is made to assist you in finding work to pay for your education, to gain practical experience in your chosen field and to find full-time career-related employment upon graduation.

Westchester Community College Job Board
The Career & Transfer Center has partnered with College Central Network, to give students and alumni numerous on-line services. Job seekers can register on-line and view job leads on local internships, part-time, full-time and seasonal positions. Students can upload their resumes into a database, email their resumes to employers for the job postings that interest them and have employers view their resumes.  Additionally there is a portfolio module that allows job applicants the opportunity to present their art work, video and graphic images in digital format.

Other Job Boards
There are hundreds of job boards on the Internet. We provide links to some of our favorites.

Job Search Skills

Bolles author of What Color is Your Parachute? and a leading expert on the job search process.  His web site www.jobhuntersbible.com has practical suggestions that will greatly increase your chances of landing your job of choice.
